  25. You COULD use the DOS version (LHA V2.13 or 2.55 on any good DOS ftp site)
  26. or WinZip (which would use the LHA externally) however do know that it may
  27. have severe problems dealing with some archives with long file names.  You
  28. could FORCE LHA to extract files but it may end up over-writing files
  29. because, in DOS's eyes, the file is the same as one extracted previously.
  30. You could probably just try and extract files that are the objects but it
  31. may be a hit and miss thing.  On the Amiga, file extensions don't have to be
  32. specified.   Generally, objects may have an ".lwob" extension, at least with
  33. the older archives.

  35. You owe it to yourself to step up and install Win95 to get longer file
  36. names.  DOS and 8.3 character filenames should have been eliminated 15+
  37. years ago (though we have long file names in Win95 and WinNT, they both
  38. STILL have a 3 character extension fetish).  Then you can run PhotoShop
  39. 3.0.5 and the upcoming 32 bit PS plugins.  :)
